Demand Generation Manager

I am Michael, Head of Growth at Hey Digital, and I am super excited to let you know that we're looking for a Demand Generation Manager to join our team!
Hey Digital is a B2B SaaS Performance Marketing Agency that has partnered with some of the hottest companies in the industry like PostHog, Hotjar, Toggl and Pitch (to name a few). We also run Hey Design, our new subscription-based design service, delivering world-class designs to companies like Instantly, Kilo Code and Aikido.
We have an incredible, fully remote team (20 countries and counting!) of Performance Marketers, Designers, Project Managers, Account Managers, and hopefully... you? 😉
We’re currently at ~€3M ARR with ambitious plans for 2026 and now we’re looking for a Demand Generation Manager to help execute, test, and scale the initiatives that drive demand for Hey Digital and Hey Design.
This is a high-agency, hands-on role for someone who likes taking ownership, moving fast, and figuring things out - not waiting for perfect briefs or step-by-step instructions.
About the role
🦸 What You'll Do:
You’ll report to the Head of Growth and work closely with the CEO and growth team to plan, execute, and iterate on demand generation initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Plan and execute demand generation campaigns across channels such as:
LinkedIn (organic and paid support)
Email (newsletter, outbound, nurture)
Founder- and employee-led content
ABM and outbound campaigns (with GTM engineering support)
Turn content into demand-driving assets - campaigns, offers, hooks, angles, and distribution plans
Take ideas from “this could work” to live in-market experiments
Collaborate closely with our design, performance marketing and operations teams
Support and scale founder-led and employee-led growth initiatives
Help execute and promote:
Case-study-led campaigns
Events, webinars, podcasts, and live content
Track performance and help connect initiatives to pipeline signals, such as:
Discovery calls booked
Leads and opportunities influenced
What’s working vs. what’s not
Continuously bring new ideas and experiments to the table - improving how we generate demand over time
You won’t be responsible for closing deals, but you will be expected to care deeply about whether your work creates real demand and business impact.
🧠 High-Agency Mindset (Important)
This role is not about executing briefs all day.
We’re explicitly looking for people who:
Take ownership without being asked
Enjoy figuring things out when there isn’t a playbook
Think in terms of outcomes, not just tasks
Are comfortable trying things that might not work
We’re especially excited by candidates who have:
Started (or tried to start) a side project, business, newsletter, product, or community
Taken initiative beyond their job description in previous roles
Strong opinions on what good B2B demand gen looks like with curiosity to test those opinions
You don’t need to have succeeded at everything - but you do need to show agency.
✅ Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond pure content or channel execution and wants broader exposure to demand generation and growth. You likely have:
2–5 years of experience in:
Demand generation
Growth marketing
B2B SaaS marketing
Or agency-side growth roles
Hands-on experience supporting or running:
Content-led demand gen initiatives
Outbound or ABM-style campaigns
LinkedIn-based growth programs
A strong bias toward execution and experimentation
Comfort working in a fast-moving, remote environment with imperfect information
A solid understanding of how pipeline is created in B2B SaaS
Strong communication and writing skills
A proactive, self-starter mindset - you don’t wait to be told exactly what to do
⭐️ Really nice-to-haves:
Experience with ClickUp & Slack.
You have worked in a digital marketing agency.
You’ve been in charge of writing or helping produce content for a B2B founder or subject matter expert’s LinkedIn profile.
Experience with “employee advocacy” programs and getting team members to post consistently on LinkedIn or other social channels.
Experience with SEO and writing content that ranks in search engines. Double bonus points for anything AI SEO related.
We’re also looking for someone who is AI-fluent. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should already be using AI as a leverage tool - for ideation, research, execution and iteration. We strongly believe that AI fluency is becoming a baseline skill for modern operators.
💰 Compensation
Salary range: €3,000–€4,500 per month
Fully remote with flexible working hours
This role is offered as a full-time independent contractor position. We do not offer traditional employment or EOR arrangements, but contractors are fully embedded into our team and operate under our shared policies and values below

1st Interview → If selected, we'll schedule 30min to discuss your background, the role and any questions you have about Hey Digital.
Paid Skills Assessment → If the interview goes well, we'll send you an assessment to evaluate your practical abilities and ingenuity. Once submitted, we will reimburse you for your time!
2nd Interview → You'll meet with me or another senior member of the team! We'll dig into some technicalities and learn more about one another.
Culture Call → Lastly, you'll meet with some other team members to make sure we are a perfect fit!
